In 2022 North Coast Entertainment’s is bringing you something very (very) special. Encompassing some of Scotland’s biggest and most highly renowned traditional and celtic acts, as well as a spectacular location - Tunes by the Dunes is going to be the ultimate end to summer.


Accessibility

Wheelchair access will be available, along with venue seating, and limited accessible parking. For more information or to make special arrangements please contact Martin Nicolson or Iain Mackay.

Location

Set just beside the Dunnet Head peninsula, overlooking the sandy dunes of Dunnet Bay and the jurassic Scottish coastline, we really are set in beauty. Within a few miles radius you can find hidden beaches, brochs, lochs, distilleries, forests and even a royal residence!

Parking

Car parking is available adjacent to the event venue. There is no campsite or overnight motorhome parking at the venue, but Dunnet Bay Caravan Club Site is only moments away.

Transport

Dunnet Bay is just fifteen minutes away from Thurso and and thirty from Wick - both of which are well served by public transport links. Reaching the event from these towns can be easily done by referring to the below directory:

Car
The festival grounds (Ham Park) lies just beside the A836 and parking will be available North of the village.

Taxi
There are a multitude of local taxi firms that can cater to your needs, it is advised you book these in advance. You can view a list of local taxi numbers on one of our recent Facebook posts by clicking here.

Bus
Stagecoach Highland offers a semi-regular bus service to Dunnet however it is North Coast Entertainment’s intention to operate a bus service from both Thurso and Wick. This is to ensure local bus services do not become overwhelmed and patrons arrive on time.

We continue to monitor government directives surrounding coronavirus and will always put public health at the forefront of decision making. Should the event be cancelled or run at reduced capacity, as per the conditions set out below, refunds will be issued to all affected patrons.
