About Us

Based in the far north of mainland Britain, North Coast Entertainments is a non-profit organisation that aims to enhance and extend the tourist season in Northern Scotland and showcase the diverse heritage of traditional Scottish music; raising money for local causes in the process.

North Coast Entertainments was established in late 2018 and ran its first official event in the summer of 2019, Tunes by the Dunes, which was a phenomenal success; welcoming around 1000 people and some of the biggest acts in the Scottish traditional music scene. Then COVID19 arrived and all plans for 2020 were suspended while NCE's efforts shifted to trying to support the local community in Caithness. Thankfully in 2022 we were back and welcomed more of the finest live acts available in Scottish traditional music to perform in front of a delighted crowd of festival goers!

With more massive acts confirmed for 2023 it's shaping up to be another cracker of a festival!
