About Us

Based in the far north of mainland Britain, North Coast Entertainments is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation that aims to enhance and extend the tourist season in Northern Scotland and showcase the diverse heritage of traditional Scottish and UK music; whilst raising money for local causes in the process.

North Coast Entertainments was established in late 2018 and ran its first official event in the summer of 2019, Tunes by the Dunes, which was a phenomenal success; welcoming around 1000 people and some of the biggest acts in the Scottish traditional music scene. Then COVID19 arrived and all plans for 2020 were suspended while NCE's efforts shifted to trying to support the local community in Caithness.

Thankfully in 2022 we were back and welcomed more of the finest live acts available in Scottish traditional music to perform in front of a delighted crowd of festival goers! Since then our festivals in 2023, 2024 & 2025 went down as great successes with everyone involved and cemented our reputation as a friendly, well-organised festival offering the very best in Live UK Music!
