Location
Set just beside the Dunnet Head peninsula, overlooking the sandy dunes of Dunnet Bay and the jurassic Scottish coastline, we really are set in beauty. Within a few miles radius you can find hidden beaches, brochs, lochs, distilleries, forests and even a royal residence!
Parking
Car parking is available adjacent to the event venue. There is no campsite or overnight motorhome parking at the venue, but Dunnet Bay Caravan Club Site is only moments away.
Transport
Dunnet Bay is just fifteen minutes away from Thurso and and thirty from Wick - both of which are well served by public transport links. Reaching the event from these towns can be easily done by referring to the below directory:
Car The festival grounds (Ham Park) lies just beside the A836 and parking will be available North of the village.
Taxi There are a multitude of local taxi firms that can cater to your needs, it is advised you book these in advance. You can view a list of local taxi numbers on one of our recent Facebook posts by clicking here.
Bus Stagecoach Highland offers a semi-regular bus service to Dunnet however it is North Coast Entertainment’s intention to operate a bus service from both Thurso and Wick. This is to ensure local bus services do not become overwhelmed and patrons arrive on time.
Buses will leave/return from both Wick (opposite Norseman Hotel) and Thurso (opposite Riverside Replicas) on Friday 30th and Saturday 31st August 2024. Exact times will be updated closer to the date.
There are no on-site camping facilities however the Caravan Club manage a site within walking distance to the event and a further three within driving distance.
Q: What COVID measures will you put in place?
At this stage it is too early to tell what the coronavirus situation will look like in September but as ever we will always act in the best interests of public health by following government guidance.

Q: Is the event accessible for wheelchair users?
Yes. Should you require any assistance at all at the festival please approach any of the event stewards and they will gladly help you in any way they can,
Q: Can I bring food and drink into the event and will there be food and drink on sale?
Yes there will be vendors within the event so bringing drinks and food in is prohibited.
